About

Our experience with rural electric utility systems dates back decades before Craig Scheidegger founded Global Utility Services in 2013.  At a young age, Craig was employed by his father’s electrical engineering firm where they designed and supervised the construction of transmission and distribution lines for rural electric utilities throughout the Midwest.

After graduating college, Craig went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps for 21 years.  Upon his retirement as a Lt. Colonel in 2009, Craig joined his father’s pole inspection company, which was established in 1980, and began expanding the business to southern and western parts of the county.  The success of that expansion resulted in the founding of Global Utility Services.

In 2015, Craig’s brother Brad Scheidegger, who also worked for their father’s pole inspection company, joined the management team and now serves as director of operations.
