Utility Pole Restoration

If your utility pole doesn’t pass inspection, our inspectors will perform an assessment to determine if the pole is a candidate for reinforcement. Using the patented PoleEnforcer System designed by Laminated Wood Systems, Inc., we can reinforce poles with minimal or no shell thickness remaining at the base of the pole, returning poles to their original strength or greater.

We can also reinforce poles that have damage midway up the pole due to woodpecker holes, fire damage, or high decay pockets using Laminated Wood System’s Pole Repair system.

Benefits of Utility Pole Restoration

The cost benefits of reinforcing a pole over replacing a pole are obvious when you look at it in terms of manpower, equipment and time.  The cost to replace a typical 40 ft Class 3 distribution pole is anywhere from $1500-$4500 and could even be higher with several joint use attachments on the pole.  In most soil conditions, a 2-man Global Utility Services crew could easily install a PoleEnforcer steel member to that same pole in less than an hour from start to finish at a cost of $350-$400 and from a safety standpoint, our crews never leave the ground.

We always offer competitive prices and a service guarantee, so don’t hesitate to call us for a quote.
